Hello! I’m Dr. Jennifer Tang a licensed naturopathic doctor, researcher, and humanitarian speaker.
Jennifer’s goal is not only to help individuals achieve optimal health, but to empower and advocate for them along the process. It is her mission to work with wellness warriors all over to delve into a lifestyle and mindset that they can fall in love with.
Dr. Jennifer Tang is a licensed naturopathic doctor in Ontario. She earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto; prior to that, Dr. Tang completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University, specializing in biology and genetics where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree.
Jennifer has extensive experience working with patients through a functional medicine approach. She incorporates her strong science background in molecular biology and evidence-based research to naturopathic medicine and principles. Her clinical training included interning at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic, and Integrative Cancer Centre, as well as working at the Marsden Centre of Naturopathic Excellence, and preceptorship at multiple clinics in Ontario. In addition, her research experience included collaboration with The Centre of Health Innovation (OICC), Southlake Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Stronach Cancer Centre, Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians,. Jennifer has proficient knowledge on nutraceuticals and supplements from a variety of professional companies, due to work experience and extensive product training.
Jennifer has an immense passion about her work and is dedicated to helping individuals in hormones, women’s health, gut health, stress management, as well as collaborative cancer care and prevention. Her drive and ambition sparked at a young age when she had to prioritize her own health concerns, which were not addressed until she discovered naturopathic medicine.
Jennifer is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
During her spare time, Jennifer enjoys weight lifting, spending time outside, and cooking new recipes.
She utilizes her expertise in different modalities of treatment to create the most applicable plan for individuals just like you.
In addition to being a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Jennifer Tang has started her own campaign, collaborating with various non-profit organizations all across Canada, to promote health education and raise awareness about naturopathic medicine. Some topics include: women’s health, getting familiar with your menstrual cycle, mindful eating, stress management, gut healing & nutrition, and many more. Ever since a young age, she’s always been involved in the community, so it was a natural instinct to start her campaign as a way for her to continue giving back. The mission of the Tangible Health Campaign is to empower individuals of all ages to learn more about their bodies and its whole-system mechanism.
